JOHNSON, Howard Franklin It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Howard Johnson at the age of 78. Howard died peacefully on Monday, July 26, 2004 with his daughters at his side. Howard was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, and joins his beloved wife, Sonia and son, Brian. He leaves his daughters, Colleen Sampson (Al) of Winnipeg and Cindy Daoust (Richard) of Osgoode, and son, Miles (Diane) of St. Albert. He was a fantastic grandpa to John, Dean, Maggie, Monique, Lee-Anne, Justine, Daniel and Kyle and four great-grandchildren. After serving with the Royal Canadian Air Force, Howard then enjoyed a 35-year career with Canada Post. He will be remembered for his love of curling, fishing and TV sports! At Howard's request, no funeral service will be held. Those wishing may make donations to the Manotick Legion (Branch 314).
