RAMSAY - Hildagarde Katherine (nee Loehndorf) passed away peacefully into the hands of our Lord on March 31, 2008. Hilda was born May 7, 1926 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She married George Russell Varey in 1949 and was predeceased by George in 1972. Hilda is survived by their three sons, Robert George, Garth Lee and Kevin Frederick Varey. Hilda remarried in 1985 to Paul Alphonse Ramsay and was predeceased by Paul in 1989. Hilda was also predeceased by her parents, Paul and Angeline Loehndorf; sisters, Anne Boechler and Erna Paterson. She is survived by her loving daughter in law, Judy; grandchildren, Trevor (Shenelle), Jay (Isabel), Mike, Sydney, Rachel and Robin. As well as her caring and devoted sisters, Marie Dodsworth, Clara Bitz, Rose (Al) Boechler, Claudine Buchan and Pauline Pope. Hilda will forever be remembered as a Loving Mom, a Caring Grandma, a Wonderful Sister, a Kind Auntie and a True Friend to all those who touched her heart. There will be a public viewing on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Park Funeral Chapel, 311 Third Avenue North, Saskatoon, SK. Vigil for Hilda will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. from the Chapel of St. Ann's Senior Citizens Village, 2910 Louise Street, Saskatoon, SK. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 4, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Philip Neri Roman Catholic Church, 1902 Munroe Avenue, Saskatoon, SK (corner of Taylor and Munroe). Rite of Committal will take place in the Garden of The Last Supper, Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Hilda's memory to the Saskatchewan Parkinson's Disease Foundation, Box 102, 103 Hospital Drive, Saskatoon, SK, S7N 0W8.
