LAFONTAINE, Herve On Sunday, November 21, 2004 at the age of 77, after a short illness. Son of the late Joseph Lafontaine and the late Ida Viau. He was predeceased by his wife Claire Rochon. Survived by his sister Pierrette (Maurice), his brothers Edouard (Mimi), Romeo (late Helene), Ronald (Aline), Roger (Evelyne) and Gerald, many brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and friends. Predeceased by his sister Fleurette (late Willy), and his brothers Edgar (Renee), Lucien "Titi" (Rollande), Brother Paul-Emile, F.E.C., Jean-Maurice (Reina). Uncle Herve was cherished by many nephews and nieces and he will be greatly missed. He was a life member of the L'Institut canadien-francais d'Ottawa. Special thanks to Dr. Sunderason and to Dr. Cardinal and especially to the nurses of the Intensive Care Unit of the Ottawa Hospital General Campus. There will be no visitation. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, November 27, 2004 at 10:30 a.m. at the Marie-Mediatrice Church, 344 Cyr Avenue, Vanier. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Racine, Robert and Gauthier Funeral Home, 241-3680.
