Herschel Ky "Red" Williams, 87, of Florence, died Tuesday, Sept. 16, 2003.Visitation was Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2003, from 6-9 p.m. at Spry Serenity Chapel, Florence. The funeral service will be at graveside Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003, at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens, with Brother Donald Townsley officiating. Interment will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.A member of Underwood Heights Church of Christ, a U.S. Army veteran, having served in World War II, he was preceded in death by his wives, Sue Williams in 1957 and Charlene Williams in 1987.Survivors include his sisters, Edrie Abston, Reba Wulf and Weba Williams, all of Florence; nieces and nephews.Spry Serenity Chapel, Florence, is directing.
