TUSCALOOSA Herman Johnson Smith, age 89, of Tuscaloosa, died Jan. 27, 2010, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery near Vernon with Rev. Larry Corder officiating and Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Survivors include his brothers, Charlie E. Smith of Tuscaloosa and J.T. Smith of Louisville, Miss.Herman was a part of the W.D. Partlow Developmental Center family for over 50 years and was truly loved by all who knew him.
