ObituaryHerbert W. Perry, 87, of North Fort Myers, formerly Croswell, MI died Tuesday, June 18, 2002, in Hospice House North in Cape Coral. He was born April 30, 1915 in Fremont Twp., near Croswell. He and Lillian Mae Whaley were married on December 27, 1941 in Detroit. Mr. Perry was a lifelong Fremont Twp. farmer and member of the United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife L. Mae; one daughter Barbara J. (Thomas) Goetz of North Fort Myers; and one son Paul H. of Reed City, MI; two sisters Thelma Cole and Gladys Dafoe, both of MI. Two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday in the Croswell United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Croswell Cemetery. Visitation 3 to 9 p.m. Friday at Pomeroy Funeral Home, Croswell, MI and from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Church. Memorials may be made to the Croswell U. Methodist Church; Simpson Park Camp Meeting; Sanilac County Gideons or Hope Hospice North.
