Herbert Reece Jordan, 76, Russellville, Ala., died Wednesday, Jan. 19, 2005, at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital, Florence.Mr. Jordan was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of Siloam Baptist Church in Russellville. He served in the Navy and was retired from Reynolds Metals Co., with more than 30 years service.The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 21, 2005, at Pinkard Funeral Home chapel, Russellville, with Brother Coy Marbutt officiating. Burial will be in Franklin Memory Gardens.Visitation was 5-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.Survivors include his wife, Doris Taylor Jordan, Russellville; sons, Thomas David Jordan and wife, Marilyn, Littleville, Donnie Reece Jordan and wife, Ann, Phil Campbell; stepson, Lanny Hargrove and wife, Kathy, Russellville; brother, Thomas Joe Jordan, Cloverdale; great-granddaughter, Jessica Shea Jordan; stepgranddaughter, Brandi Boyd and husband, Nick, Russellville.Pallbearers will be Frankie Hatton, Milton Hatton, Gary Duncan, J.C. Richie, Ricky Kirby and Thomas Wayne Jordan.He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie and Janie Jordan; grandson, Kevin David Jordan; and brothers, Ray Jordan, Harold Jordan and Vernon Jordan.Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, is directing.
