Herbert Peters -->Herbert Peters, 83, of West Bridgewater for most of his life, died Nov. 14, 2010. A native of New Bedford, he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. A foreman for Warren Brothers-Tilcon in Brockton, he was a member of the Massachusetts Laborers Union until retirement. He enjoyed boating, fishing and car racing and played instruments by ear. Herbert was the son of the late John and Mary (Perry) Peters; beloved husband of Laura R. (Ulianelli) Peters for 63 years; loving father of Herbert J. Benny Peters and his wife Ethel Chick of Uxbridge, Maze Peters of Provincetown, Trudy Duggan and her husband Jack of Brockton and John Peters and his wife Rosemary of Carver; dear grandfather of Kellie Perry, Alexandra Peters, James Peters and his wife Julie, Tina Perry and Dianne Toomey; great-grandfather of Alicia Perry and Erin and Meghan Peters; great great-grandfather of Christopher and Laura Miller; and an uncle of many nieces and nephews.
