JOHNSON Herbert Lee "Big Herb", 49, was born in Sumter, SC and resided in Paterson, NJ. He departed this life on Wednesday, December 2, 2009. He was employed as a Sanitation Engineer for BFI Sanitation formerly of Glen Rock, NJ. He was preceded in death by his parents, Queen Ester (Hampton) Johnson and Rochell Johnson. He leaves to cherish his memory: five brothers, John Wesley Hampton, Alphonso, Wardell, Rochell, Jr. and James Johnson; eight sisters, Dorothy Johnson, Doris Carter, Rosalie Johnson, Alice Fowler, Gloria Porter, Vivian Johnson, Beverly Johnson and Tawanda Johnson; sister-in-law, Helen Johnson; three brothers-in-law, Charles Fowler, Nicholas Carter and Robert Wright. He is also survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and neighbors.Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life Monday, December 7, 2009 12noon at the Carnie P.
