Herbert L. Perry, 88     BRUNSWICK -- Herbert L. Perry, 88, of Brunswick, passed away at home with his family by his side on Sunday, Nov. 12, 2006.     He was born on Aug. 27, 1918, in Bath, the son of Frank and Lillian Russell Perry.     Herbert attended school in Phippsburg and graduated from Morse High School in 1936.     He was employed at the Bath Iron Works for 46 years in the Sheet Metal Department, retiring as a leadman on Aug. 31, 1983.     On Sept. 21, 1952, he married Jeanne Belanger of Topsham at the home of Alaric W. Haskell.     Affectionately known as Herbie, he bowled for 60 years in the B.I.W. Bowling League.     For many years he enjoyed camping with family and friends at Sebago Lake State Park and Cathedral Pines in Eustis. He also enjoyed cruising and visiting friends in the Caribbean.     Herbert was a very devoted and loving husband and father. He is survived by his wife Jeanne of 54 years; his son, Alden N. Perry and daughter-in-law, Pamela Perry of Brunswick; and several cousins.     Visiting hours will be from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 15, at the Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal Street, Brunswick, where a funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Thursday, with the Rev. Ronald McLaughlin officiating.
