MILLER, Herbert John, 86, of Riverview, Fla., went to be with the Lord Friday, December 28, 2007. Herbert moved to the area 11 years ago from Phoenix, Ariz., and prior to that he lived in Ballston Spa and Schenectady, N.Y. He was Protestant by faith. He loved his family and enjoyed writing poetry. The family would like to extend a special thanks to LifePath Hospice and the Yellow Team. He is survived by: his wife of 65 years, Daisy; son, Fred (Gale) Miller; daughter, Carol (Robert) Jones; sisters, Pauline Spickerman, Virginia Doxstater and Charlene Gorzynski; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He is survived by an extended loving family and friends. Memorial services will take place at 2 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2008, at Serenity Meadows Memorial Park, 6919 Providence Road, Riverview.
