Henry P. St. Onge of Pelham, Raytheon retiree, Army vet; 71 PELHAM Henry Peter St. Onge, 71, a member of a well-known Pelham family, died Tuesday evening, at his home surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Rita J. (Bergeron) St. Onge with whom he recently celebrated his 52nd Wedding Anniversary on May 14, 2007. Born in Lowell, MA, December 10, 1935, the son of the late Henry L. and the late Florine B. (Greenwood) St. Onge. He was a graduate of the Sherburne School in Pelham, and Lowell High School. Mr. St. Onge served his country in the military as a member of the U.S. Army National Guard for several years. Before retirement, he was the manufacturing foreman in the Final Systems of the 7M Sparrow Missile for Raytheon Corporation in South Lowell for many years. Previously, he was the supervisor of the stitching room for the Paris Shoe Company in Lowell. Mr. St. Onge was a communicant of St. Patrick Church in Pelham. He was a member of the St. Patrick Men's Club, and the Knights of Columbus. Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters and their families, Diane B. Capps, her husband, Thomas E. Capps III, and their daughter, Sarah Capps, all of Pelham, Cathy F. Masson, her children, Tyler J. and Jared D. Masson, her fiancé, Robert B. Chatel and his children, Mark and Matthew Chatel all of Pelham, and Linda L. Pace, her husband, Robert G. Pace and their son, Corey H. Pace, all of Pelham; a sister, Florine Hirsch of Alaska; many nieces and nephews. Mr. St. Onge was the grandfather of the late Michael R. Pace, who died August 4, 2001, and the brother of the late Leo F. St. Onge. ST. ONGE In Pelham, November 27, 2007, at his home, Henry Peter St. Onge, 71, husband of Rita J. (Bergeron) St. Onge. Friends may call at the PELHAM FUNERAL HOME 11 NASHUA RD. in PELHAM from 4 to 8 P.M. Friday. His Funeral will take place from the funeral home Saturday morning at 9 o'clock followed by a Funeral Mass at ST. PATRICK CHURCH in PELHAM at 10 o'clock. Burial in the Gibson Cemetery.
