Henry Lee Hensley, 85, of Franklin, Ohio, died Sept. 13 at Hospice of Butler/Warren Counties. Henry was born in Hazard, Ky. on July 19, 1927. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving in the U.S. Army and retired from Atlas Roofing.He was a charter member of Healing Word Church and served in many capacities through the years.He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Easter Lamar Hensley; his first wife Opal Hensley; son, Rev. David Hensley and wife, Sandy; two grandchildren, Alisha and Brian; sister Faye Gaylor.He is survived by his wife, Rachel Hensley; daughter Marilyn Lawson and husband, Irv; three grandchildren, Chris and wife, Amanda, Mike and wife, Christa, Tom and wife, Corrinne; six great grandchildren; brother, Gene Walden; sister Billie McCullah; step-daughter, Freda Lewis and husband, Gary; two step-grandchildren, Sierra Wells and Rachel Wells.Funeral services were Sept. 17, at Healing Word Church with the Rev. Don Shepherd and the Rev. Roger Mullins officiating. Interment was in Woodhill Cemetery with full military honors.Anderson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
