->NORRIDGEWOCK -- Henry Ervil Curtis, 58, died March 18, 2009, at the Redington-Fairview General Hospital in Skowhegan where he had been a patient for a half a day.He was born in Norway on Jan. 7, 1951, the son of Ervil L. and Ruth B. (Bennett) Curtis. Henry was educated in the schools of Skowhegan and graduated from Skowhegan High School in 1971.Being an avid hunter, Henry was a member of the North American Hunting Club. He loved the outdoors and was a Lumberman most of his life. Henry was also a member of the fraternal Order Of The Eagles of Skowhegan and a member of the Norridgewock Grange. He was a great father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by all.He is survived by a stepdaughter, Lynn Weeks of Skowhegan and stepgranddaughter, Danika Weeks of Skowhegan; two sisters, Linda Westleigh and her husband, Reginald, of West Bethel, and Nadine Hughes and her husband, David, of Weston, Fla.; a brother, Arthur Curtis and his wife, Joyce, of Skowhegan; brother-in-law, Larry Gray of Vassalboro; several nieces, nephews and cousins.Henry was predeceased by his parents, and a sister, Donna Gray.A graveside service will take place later in the spring at the convenience of the family.
