SAVARD, Henry D. - In loving memory of Henry D. Savard, 86 years, who passed away Tuesday, April 4th, 2006 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Memorial Site. Beloved husband of Leola (Dube) Savard of Sudbury. Loving father of Gisele of Sudbury. Dear son of Paul and Helene Savard both predeceased. Dear brother of Emile, Patrick, Marie-Ange Masse, Mignonne Pilon and Colombe Forcier (husband Gerry of Lively) all predeceased. Born in Sudbury, where he married Leola in 1946, he worked as a shipper at Sudbury Wholesale for 35 years and then for 6 years at Manitoulin Transport. Henry served overseas with the Canadian Army during World War II. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of St. Jean de Brebeuf Church. Funeral Prayers in the LOUGHEED FUNERAL HOME, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St Saturday, April 8th, 2006 at 10 a.m. Cremation at the Parklawn Crematorium. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Fund would be appreciated. (Friends may call 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Friday or after 9 a.m. Saturday).
