Crawford - Henry Allen Freeman, 78, died February 15, 2008.A native of Oglethorpe County, Ga., he was a son of the late John Henry and Bessie Smith Freeman. He was employed with the University of Georgia for twenty years and was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in the Korean Conflict.Graveside services will be Sunday, February 17, 2008, at 3:00 PM at Athens Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:30 PM at the funeral home.Survivors include his friend and caretaker, Mary Dudley of Winterville; sister-in-law, Nancy Freeman of Arnoldsville; former wife, Frances Brooks of Crawford; two nieces and one nephew.Lord and Stephens, EAST, is in charge of arrangements.
