Helene G. BuckleyHingham Helene G. (O'Neil) Buckley of Hingham died December 18, 2007. Devoted wife of the late Francis J. Buckley. Beloved mother of Helene G. and her husband James Feeley, Jr. of Hingham, and Ann D. and her husband Michael MacCune of Hingham. Cherished grandmother of Kristin, Michael and his wife Julie, and James Feeley, III and his wife Diane, and Kim, Sarah, MacKenzie and Michael MacCune, Jr. Great-grandmother of Kathryn and James Feeley, IV. Born in Paris, France, Helene came to Boston when she was only 6 months old. She grew up in Boston, but spent many a summer in Hingham with relatives. Helene married the late Francis Buckley in 1946 in Holy Cross Cathedral, Boston. Mrs. Buckley enjoyed traveling with her husband and visited such places as Hawaii, Germany, Scotland, Alaska, Mexico, and the Caribbean which was a favorite. They also enjoyed wintering in West Palm Beach in FL. Helene and her family resided in Hingham for over 50 years. She was a clerical worker for the Commonwealth of MA in the Tax Department in Boston for over 10 years. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and going to the beach. Most of all, Helene loved being with her family and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Saturday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul's Church, Hingham at 10:00 AM. Visiting hours Friday 4 - 8 PM. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Helene G.
