DUNFEE (Anderson), Helen Winifred Ferguson "Minnie" DUNFEE (Anderson), Helen Winifred Ferguson "Minnie" - Enfield, passed away March 23, 2008, peacefully at home surrounded by family. She was born June 6, 1925, in Belfast, Northern Ireland, to the late George and Ida (McGrath) Anderson. Her Irish heritage has left a lasting legacy. She was a loving caring mother who devoted her life to raising her family. Mom, we'll miss you. Her second passion was her dogs. She was a Canadian Kennel Club member for 40 years and bred Yorkshire Terriers under the kennel name Lavally. These little dogs touched the hearts of many. She is survived by sons, Norval (Megan), Australia; Donard; Halifax; Arthur (Jocelyne), Ottawa; Brendan (Susan), Lower Sackville; George (Allyson), New Minas; daughters, Natalie, Enfield; Colleen, Ottawa; Kara (Ken), Riverview, N.B.; Kelly, Halifax; Shannon (Charles), Enfield; 15 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brother, Brinsley, and sister, Olga (Douglas), Northern Ireland. She was predeceased by husband, George O. Dunfee, and brother, Norval. She will be missed by many and will remain in our hearts forever. Special thanks to V.O.N. Colchester East Hants Home Care and Palliative Care. There will be no visitation. A memorial service conducted by Rev. Canon David Fletcher will be held Monday, March 31, at 2 p.m. followed by a reception in Ettinger Funeral Home, 2812 Main St., Shubenacadie.
