Helen Williams Jones Helen Williams Jones, 76, died Saturday, July 14, 2007. The graveside service will be at 10:30 a.m. EDT Thursday at Southside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd., Tallahassee, FL 32308. Fairchild Funeral Home (850-386-8686) is handling arrangements.A native of North Carolina, formerly of Waterbury, Conn., she had lived in Tallahassee since 1996. Mrs. Jones accepted Christ as her personal savior at Richardson Memorial Church of God in Christ in Waterbury. She later became a member of Christian Heritage Church and Fresh Fire Church in Tallahassee. Survivors include her husband, Arguster P. Jones of Tallahassee; sons, Arguster Jr., Alton, Joseph, McKinley and Paul Jones, all of Waterbury; daughters, Jannie M. Whitt and Diane Jones, both of Tallahassee, Annie Jones, Linda Jones, Hazel Moore, Madelyn Jones and Aida Jones, all of Waterbury, and Carrie Bundy Jones of Worcester, Mass.; 19 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren; and two nieces and four nephews.She was preceded in death by two sons, William Earl Jones and David Earl Jones, and a daughter, Alice Ruth Flemming.
