She was born on November 22, 1926 to D.C. (Curtis) and Theresa Kennedy Walker of Eden, NC.She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 20 years, Harry Carleton Hancock; her parents; sisters, Alma Steward and Edna Harris; brothers, Rex Walker, Harvey Walker, and Floyd Walker. She is survived by three brothers, Raenord and Raeford Walker of Colonial Heights, VA, and Leon Walker of Murrells Inlet, SC, a sister, LaVonne Hall of Eden, NC, and several nieces and nephews.Helen was a loving wife and sister. She deeply touched the lives of all who knew her. A celebration of her life will be held at the Parkside Place Community Clubhouse Thursday, 12/11/2014 at 12 noon.
