WHITE, Helen Irene On Sunday, October 17, 2004, Helen Irene White of Mayerthorpe, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 years. Helen will be deeply mourned and always remembered and loved by her children; Earl (Lee) of Chilliwack, BC, Howard (Rosemarie) of Madden, AB, Barbara (Wes) Smoole of Mayerthorpe, Diana (Clair) Barney of Niton Junction and Bill (Linda) of Mayerthorpe; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson; brother, George (Bunty) Frederick of White Rock, BC; sister, Ruth Beckhuson of St. Albert; nieces, nephews and cherished good friends. Predeceased by husband, Jack (1970); special friends, George Adams and Morris Fox. Helen was a cherished mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was an active Eastern Star member becoming the worthy matron of the Mayerthorpe Star. As well she was an Auxiliary member and participated in auxiliary events. She enjoyed pastimes centered around her family. Helen will not be forgotten. Funeral Service Saturday, October 23 at 2:30 p.m. at Mayerthorpe Legion, Mayerthorpe with Pastor Ruth Lotholz officiating. Cremation will follow in the Park Memorial Crematorium. Private family inurnment at a later date. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
