Helen Trix Williams Helen Trix Williams, 89, who retired from the Florida Department of Transportation, died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003, in Crawfordville. The service will be at 11 a.m. EST Friday at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel (877-8191), with burial at Roselawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, P.O. Box 3553, 1400 N. Monroe St., Tallahassee, FL 32315.She served as a Wave in the U.S. Navy during World War II. She worked many years for the Department of Transportation for the state of Florida before retiring several years ago. She is survived by her sister, Sari E. Williams; two nieces, Maribelle Garris MacAlpin of Waymart, Pa., and Lou Rogers Ausman of Gulf Shores, Ala.; two nephews, William Moore of Gainesville and Richard Rogers of Jamestown, Calif.; and many great-grandnieces and nephews.
