LAKE KATRINE- Helen T. Lucas, 99, formerly of Third Avenue Kingston, died Friday April 19, 2013 at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home. Born April 19, 1914 in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Martha (Zakseski) Lucas.Helen had been employed by Hanstein Insurance as a secretary. She had also been employed by Ulster County Mental Health and J.J. Newberry.She is survived by her niece, Sharon Bickford of Marlboro, N.J.Her brothers, Walter and Frank Lucas and sister, Vivian Lucas all died previously.Funeral arrangements are under the guidance of the Joseph V. Leahy Funeral Home, Inc., 27 Smith Avenue, Kingston www.jvleahyfh.com Friends will be received at the funeral home on Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. A funeral procession will form at 11 a.m. and proceed to Immaculate Conception Church where a 11:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
