Helen C. Smith, 74, formerly of Taylors, died Sept. 15, 2004, at Lower Cape Fear Hospice and Life Care Center. A private service will be held at Graceland East Memorial Park in Simpsonville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pinkney Dorrah Cunningham and Lillian Mitchell Cunningham; and her husband, Boyce E. Smith Sr.Surviving are three children, Boyce E. Smith Jr. of Richmond, Va., June Huffman of Sneads Ferry, N.C. and Benjamin W.
