SMITH, Helen Margaret (nee Ebben) Peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Sunday, September 30, 2007 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of the late Jim Smith. Loving mother of Del (Barbara) and Ross (the late Maureen). Cherished grandmother of Sean, Mark, Tara, Shauna and Ryan. Adored great-grandmother of 7. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road at Aviation Parkway, on Friday, October 5, from 10 a.m. until Service Time in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
