SMITH, Helen (Nee MacGregor) Mrs. Helen Smith formerly of St. Andrews West, peacefully at the Maxville Manor on Saturday, December 3, 2005, age 90 years. (Retired Public School Teacher at Martintown, North Branch, Milles Roches, Bonville and St. Andrews West , Past President St. Andrews Parish C.W.L.) Beloved wife of the late Joseph Edward (Ted) Smith. Dear mother of Alfred (Margo), Ottawa; and Harold (Mary) of St. Andrews West. Will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Lia, Callum, Ryan, Sean and Jessica. Predeceased by her parents Charles and Elsie (Muir) MacGregor; one sister Kathleen; and three brothers, James, Alfred and Charles. Resting at the Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall from 2 PM Monday, December 5th. [ The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated in St. Andrews Roman Catholic Church, St. Andrews West on Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 11 AM ] Rite of committal at a later date in St. Mary's Parish Cemetery, Williamstown. Visitation Monday 2-5 & 7-9 PM and Tuesday 9 AM to 10:15 AM. If so desired contributions to St. Andrews Church Restoration Fund would be appreciated by the family. Helen's family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Dr. Theo Jaggassar, the staff at Maxville Manor and the staff at Glengarry Memorial Hospital for the loving care given to Helen over the past seven years. Members of the St. Andrews Parish C.W.L. are requested to assemble at the Wilson Funeral Home on Monday at 3:00 PM for a prayer vigil with an honour guard requested for the funeral.
