SMITH, Helen (nee McCaffrey) (Founder Pinto Valley Ranch) Peacefully at Almonte, Ontario on Saturday morning June 15, 2002. Helen Veronica Smith of Fitzroy Harbour at the age of 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Morley Smith (May 27th, 2001). Dear mother of Clem (Doris) of Kinburn, Mary Lunney (Hugh) of Pakenham, Maurice "Sundance" (Roxanne) of Manotick, Tom (Sue) of Pakenham, John (Helen) of Woodlawn, Ernie (Gail) of Fitzroy Harbour, Pat (Michele) of Woodlawn, Raymond (Jane) of Kanata, Tillie Bastien (Garry) of Dunrobin and Helen McDonald (Greg) of Woodlawn. Predeceased by a son, Fr. Basil Smith. Dear sister of William McCaffrey of Greeley. Predeceased by 9 sisters as well as 4 brothers. Lovingly remembered by 33 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren as well as her very dear friend, Mrs. Rose Servos. The family would like to thank the special caring staff at Country Haven, almonte for their kindness to a special mom. Friends may call at the Pilon Family Funeral Home, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Sunday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Michael's Church, Fitzroy Harbour on Tuesday morning June 18th at 11 o'clock. Interment Parish Cemetery. In remembrance donations to St. Michael's Parish Fitzroy Harbour would be most appreciated by the Smith families.
