Helen Ruth Doolittle Wright formerly of Binghamton Helen Ruth Doolittle Wright went home to the Lord on Thursday, July 31, 2008. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold; one daughter, Grace Elizabeth; one brother, Ralph; and one sister, Inez. She will be missed by her sisters, Mina and Cora, New York; her children, Douglas, California, Philip, Florida, David, California, Norma, California, Neil, Arizona, Kenneth, New York, Ruth, Wisconsin, John, Virginia, Virginia, Georgia, Timothy, Virginia, Mary, Virginia, Joseph, New York, Esther, Virginia; 18 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She gave her loving family enough time to say goodbye to her before she left and had many of her children with her during her last days on Earth. Helen was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church, Binghamton and the Open Bible Baptist Church, Johnson City. The family is inviting friends for a Memorial Service at the Fischer-Scholder Funeral Home, Inc., 269 Chenango St., Wednesday, August 6, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Richard Brasser of Syracuse, whom she had requested, officiating.
