McKEON Helen Rose (nee Ritzler), age 92, of Ridgewood, formerly of Ho-Ho-Kus, died March18, 2010.Born August 3, 1917 in Tenafly, she was a 1935 graduate of St. Joseph of the Palisades High School, West New York, NJ.. She was married in the Panama Canal Zone in January 1943 to Vincent E. McKeon, who predeceased her in 1962. Loving mother of Sheila Krasnomowitz-McCullough of Ogdensburg, NJ; Margaret and husband Henry Koeck of Lindenhurst, IL; Rosanne and husband David Mead of Ridgewood; Vincent McKeon of Ridgewood; and the late Brian McKeon, who passed away in 1972. Adoring grandmother of Richard, Lisa and Brian Krasnomowitz; Laura Miller, Elizabeth Hodge, Jacqueline Vaccarino, Susanne Fuhrman, Allison and Christopher Mead; Brendan, Conor, and Deirdre McKeon. Revered Great-Grandmother of Justin, Courtney, Taylor, and Madison Krasnomowitz; Emma and Keira Wiebrauk; Tyler and Matthew Miller, Grace Hodge, and Emily Vaccarino. Helen was a Secretary with the Ridgewood Board of Education for many years, retiring in 1982. She was a parishioner of St. Luke's RC Church, Ho-Ho-Kus since 1956, where she was also a member of its Rosary Altar Society. She was also a former member of the Valley Hospital Auxiliary. Funeral Services will commence Tuesday 9 AM at the Feeney Funeral Home, 232 Franklin Avenue, Ridgewood, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 AM in St. Luke's RC Church, Ho-Ho-Kus. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly. Visiting hours Monday 4-8 PM.
