Helen Rita (Maloney) Fleming age 80 on december 25, 2010 Of Weymouth and previously of Dorchester and Roxbury. Beloved wife of the late Francis P. (Frank) Fleming. Helen Rita a nd her husband Frank were members of the Sacred Heart Church in Weymouth . They worked side by side, along with many valued co-workers and children to build the family business, Hub Pen of Braintree. Helen Ritas days were filled with raising 7 children and enjoying her 12 grandchildren. Her kindness and humble devotion to her church and family is appreciated and respected by her survivors; John P. Fleming and his wife Dianne of Marshfield, Joseph A. Fleming and his wife Angela of Hanover, the late Nora A. Fleming, Mary F. McGaughey and her husband Robert of Marshfield, Therese M. Fleming of Braintree, Matthew F. Fleming and his wife Anne of Marco Island, FL, Michael E. Fleming and his wife Patricia of Braintree, and Sara M. Borgatti and her husband Dave of Weymouth; and her treasured grandchildren, Jennifer McGaughey of Weymouth and Sean McGaughey of San Francisco, Patrick, Colin and Jillian Fleming of Marshfield, Joseph, Daniel and James Fleming of Marco Island, Matthew and Erin Fleming of Hanover, and Edward and Katherine Fleming of Braintree. She enjoyed a wonderful relationship with her brother Francis Maloney of Quincy and sister Ruth Sullivan of Dorchester, along with her late brother and sister John Maloney and Mary McGovern. Together, they set an example of a caring, supportive family.Helen Rita also appreciated the company of the many Sullivan, Maloney and McGovern nieces and nephews and their growing families. She treasured her longtime friends Gerri Reardon and Rose Farrell. Her sense of humor, compassionate loving manner, warm heart and relaxed companionship made her home a popular visiting spot. Bring over a coffee and you could take pleasure in her practical viewpoints on politics and world events. Funeral from the Clancy Lucid Funeral Home, 100 Washington St., Weymouth on Friday, December 31 at 8:30 a.m. Funeral Mass in the Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 a.m. Friends and relatives invited. Visiting hours on Thursday from 2 - 4 and 6 - 9 p.m. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery , Weymouth.
