HELEN PATRICIA BEER In her 92nd year, Helen Patricia Beer passed on September 5, 2011. A devoted mother, she is survived by Marguerite (Mosey), Ernest and Peter. Dear mother-in-law of Linda (Peter) Beer. Predeceased by her husband, Edgar Robert Beer. Loving grandmother to Stephen, Leanne, Andrew, Jeffrey, Kevin, Anne-Marie and Andrea. Cherished great-grandmother to Kayla, Joshua and Siena Beer. Mom will be forever remembered as wonderful friend, volunteer Red Cross instructor, dedicated Oshawa Hospital and Durham College nursing instructor, devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her volunteering as tutor to foreign students at Bethany Hills Private School and Bible Study teacher at Bethany United Church was an invaluable contribution. Friends and family may attend funeral and reception at 1 p.m. on September 8th at Bethany United Church. Donations may be made to Sleeping Children Around the World.
