Helen P. MillerBeloved Mother and Grandmother LOWELL -- Helen P. (Robertson) Miller, 82, a longtime Lowell resident, passed away, May 26, 2010, surrounded by family.Helen was born in Oldtown, Maryland on November 24, 1927, a daughter of the late Chester L. and Goldie M. (Carter) Robertson. Helen attended Maryland schools. She lived in the Centralville neighborhood for many years before moving to Centennial Island on Lawrence Street, and was a communicant of St. Michael's Church. Helen was employed by Goodwill Industries, Inc. in Lowell, and retired in 1992, after serving as the coordinator for 15 years.Helen truly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Above all, she adored her grandchildren. She always had a kind word and enjoyed sharing laughter with all those she came in contact with.Surviving Helen are her two daughters, Cheryl A. Bensoul and her husband, Abraham of Tewksbury, and Sandra M. LaPlante and her husband, Mark of Lowell; her two sons, Roger L. Miller and his wife, Elaine of Maine, and Louis M. Miller and his wife, Donna of Pelham, NH; two sisters, Alice Almeda Barnes of Wilmington, DE, and Betty Jane Lou; her brother, Gerald L. Robertson of Maryland; 10 grandchildren, Patrick Miller, Christopher Miller, Roger Miller, Linda Deroucher, Greg Miller, Matthew Miller, Shannon Miller, Kelly LaPlante, Joshua LaPlante, and Jessica LaPlante.Helen also leaves great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.Mrs. Miller was the sister of the late Dorothy Mae Amick, Virginia Robertson, and Charity Elizabeth Crabtree.MILLER -- In Lowell, May 26, 2010.
