Helen Opal Wilson, age 86, of Cumming went to be with her Lord Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015. Helen was the oldest charter member of Cumming Church of God now known as Trinity Worship Center. She is preceded in death by her parents, Enoch and Mary Barrett; brothers, Ed Barrett, Mark Barrett, Lonnie Barrett; sisters, Ellie Kendrick, Evelyn "Bill" Barrett; brother-in-law, Marvin Wilson; sisters-in-law, V.Z. Barrett, Amy Barrett, and Valeria Wilson. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Tommy "Thompy" Wilson of Cumming; children, Lisa and Robert Street, David Wilson, Nancey and Rob Lowe, Andy and Jennifer Wilson, all of Cumming; sisters, Etta Simmons of Cumming, Bonnie Barrett of Cumming; brothers and sisters-in-law, Reuben and Audrey Wilson of Canton, Vardry Wilson of Hickory Flat, Barbara Wilson of Loganville, John and JoAnn Wilson of Florida, James and Cheryl Wilson of Tennessee, Martha and John Marcucci of South Carolina; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren.Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. Rodney Allen and Dr. Ken Griffis officiating. The interment will follow at Sawnee View Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday 9 a.m. until the hour of service.
