MORRIS-COVE, Helen (nee Frank) August 22, 1929 September 20, 2010 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Helen after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. Helen was a beautiful person who touched everyone in her world in a positive and blessed way. She actively lived her belief to Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." Her kind, generous and compassionate spirit enriched the lives of all who knew her. She made friends wherever life took her and we are all blessed because of her presence in our lives. Helen devoted countless hours to various agencies in the city including The Lodge at Broadmead where she enjoyed playing bridge with the residents and acted as a tour guide. At The Canadian Cancer Society her smile graced many in their time of need. She added her beautiful voice to choral groups wherever she called home. Her leisure time also took her to the golf course and she was proud of her hole in one awards and her win of a Seniors Ladies Championship at the youthful age of 78. Helen is survived by her husband Tom; daughters Lee Morris (Dave) and Chrystal; granddaughter Jana (Andre); Tommy (Linda), Bob (MaryAnn) and the entire Cove family; her brother Ralph, Jana Joelle, Tony (Trish) and her entire Nova Scotia family; Cliff; Leanne, Fred and family; numerous relatives and friends. Service will take place on Saturday, September 25th at Christ Church Cathedral on Quadra at Burdett. The service will commence at 3:00 pm followed by a tea reception. In celebration of Helen's vibrant life and style, please honour her memory by wearing bright colors to this service. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses, staff and volunteers at the Victoria Hospice for their extraordinary care, compassion, and respect.
