Helen Mitchell Gibson, 80, of Louisville, died Wednesday, July 7, 2004, at Norton Suburban Hospital. She was a native of Morrilton, AK, and attended Grace Episcopal Church. She is survived by her husband, Lt. Col. Chaplain Thomas M. Gibson (Ret.); two daughters, Phyllis R. and Katherine R. Gibson; a son, Gregory S. Gibson; two sisters, Lorraine Harrison and Wilma Jean Givens; a brother, John Mitchell; and a grandson, Duon T. Doward. Her funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Canaan Christian Church, 2840 Hikes Lane, with entombment in Resthaven Mausoleum. Visitation will begin after 9 a.m. Saturday at the church. W.P. Porter Mortuary in charge of arrangements.
