AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest on Wednesday, June 20, 2012, Mrs. Helen M. Miller, wife of the late Candler C. Miller of Augusta. Other family members include her son: Cliff Miller and wife Carol; daughter: Kay Bennett and husband Barry; grandchildren: Stan Herrington (fianc e Heather), Ben Herrington (Mona), Erin Hurst (Aaron), Kim Selph (Brent) and Bayley Bennett; brother: Richard Morgan (Linda). Mrs. Miller was a native of Decatur, GA. and attended Atlanta Business College. She spent the majority of her life as a stay at home mom but began a career as a case worker with the State of Georgia Department of Family and Children's Services that lasted 20 years. She enjoyed volunteering as a Pink Lady with St. Joseph Hospital. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and recently attended Wesley United Methodist Church. Helen loved her family, particularly her grandchildren, and enjoyed entertaining her extended family with great cooking and funny stories. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 23, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Thomas Poteet and Son with Reverend Greg Porterfield officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
