Friends and former students of Helen Miller, 88, former administrator at Mainland High School, are invited to a memorial service at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 14, at Historic Woman's Club Building, formerly Ormond Beach Women's Club, 42 N. Beach St. (just north of Granada Boulevard), Ormond Beach. Mrs. Miller, a resident of Daytona Beach from 1949 to 1980, died Feb. 2, 2005, in Mesa, Ariz. Before her retirement, she served as a teacher, dean of girls and associate principal at Mainland High School, Daytona Beach. Mrs. Miller is survived by her son, Ralph Phillip II, Mesa; daughter-in-law, Dona Lee; grandson, Ralph P. Miller III (Trey); granddaughter, Laurie Anne Miller; and great-granddaughter, Skylar Miller.
