->Helen McDonald TROY – Helen McDonald ,91, of Pleasantdale died peacefully on April 26, 2014 at her residence with her family by her side. Born in Schenectady she was the daughter of the late Albert and Rebecca Trudell McDonald. Helen was educated in Schenectady and was a retired secretary. She was a member of St. Augustine’s Parish in Lansingburgh. Survivors include her brother, George McDonald of Gloversville, nephew, Dave Morton of Pleasantdale, great niece, Jennifer Lefevor of Slingerlands and great-great nieces and nephews, Sam Carpenter, Karina Warner, Hannah Warner and JT Warner. She was predeceased by her sister Margaret Morton. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 10 am from the Frank P. McDonald & Son Funeral Home 870 Second Avenue (124th & 125th Streets) in Lansingburgh. The internment will be in St. John’s Cemetery in Schaghticoke. Friends are invited and may call at the Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5 to 7 pm. The family would like to thank the Community Hospice of Rensselaer County for all that they did for Helen during her final days.
