McCORMACK, Helen (nee Docherty) - Passed away peacefully on February 17, 2015 in Toronto. Born January 7, 1927 in Glasgow, Scotland. Daughter of the late Mary Kelly Docherty and Francis Docherty of Glasgow, Scotland. Devoted wife of 54 years to the late James Jones McCormack. Loving mother to Roxanne Higgins (Jerry) and adoring grandmother to Brendan James Higgins. Cherished sister to the late Mildred Downey (Jimmy) and the late Mary Breckenridge. Survived by her dear brother Francis Docherty. Beloved Aunt to Maureen Shearham (John) and Mary Anthony (Brian). Special thanks to Maureen and Victoria Shearham and Mary Anthony for their care and attention particularly during her last years. Mass of Christian Burial in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Theresa's, Shrine of the Little Flower, 2559 Kingston Road, Toronto. In lieu of flowers, if desired, donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
