ANDERSON, Helen Marie Randolph 86, of Tampa, passed away Sunday, Sept. 9, 2007, at Kindred Tampa Central Hospital. She was educated in the public schools of Hillsborough County and was a homemaker for all of her life. Helen was the mother of 12 children and a surrogate mother to many others during her 86 years of life. She was a member of New Testament M.B. Church. She was preceded in death by her husband John D. Anderson Sr., daughter, Imogene Anderson Lang, and parents James and Jessie Randolph. She leaves to cherish her memory 11 children, Raymond and Myra anderson, Rev. John D. Jr. and Carrie Anderson, Dr. Ernestine and John Glenn, Alfonza and Shirley Anderson, Chester and Lucille Anderson, Orlando, FL, Lester and Sharon Anderson, Jessie Verna Turner, Olivia Robertson, Patricia Anderson, Jacksonville, FL, Meletha Anderson and Sitrena Candela; 30 grandchildren; a host of great and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Lucille and Fred Brown, Orlando; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, special friends and other sorrowing relatives and friends. Homegoing Celebration will take place on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, at 12 pm at First Baptist Church of College Hill, 3838 N 29th St., Rev. Abraham Brown, Senior Pastor, Rev. John D. Anderson Jr., Pastor of New Testament M.B. Church, officiating, Rev. Dr. W.J. Haynes, Pastor of Greater Hope M.B. Church, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 2007, from 5-8 pm at New Testament M.B. Church, 11530 Walker Road, Thonotosassa, FL. The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 pm. The funeral cortege will leave from 2506 East 38th Ave. Friends are asked to assemble at the church at 11:30 am, on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007. There will be no viewing after eulogy. Service and arrangements by Everett-Derr & Anderson Funeral Home, Inc., with the Florida Morticians and the Tampa Citywide Funeral Directors Association in charge.
