Helen Margaret Maki Jarvis, 82, Easley, S.C., and formerly of Sarasota, died Feb. 19, 2006, in Greenville, S.C. She was born April 18, 1923, in Port Arthur, Ontario, Canada, and was a homemaker. Survivors include her husband, John W.; sons David of Superior, Wis., and Robert of Fairfield, Calif.; daughters Arlene Johnson of Easley and Barbara Lindquist of Duluth, Minn.; a brother, Ollie Maki of Thunder Bay, Ontario; a sister, Mary Olin of Thunder Bay; eight grandchildren; and and three great-grandsons. Services will be in Easley, where Robinson Funeral Home is in charge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association, 310-B Bennett Center Drive, Greer, SC 29650.
