MORRISON, Helen Margaret (nee Berry/Creed) September 20, 1916 May 2, 2012 Our dear Mum passed away after a long and valiant struggle with heart disease. She remained in control, always with a sense of humour. Mum was born in Calgary, but grew up in Esquimalt and had many fond memories of picnics at Fleming Beach and life on Lyall St. She had a wonderful career in the Florist business starting at Ballantyne's Florist & it was there she met her beloved Bill. They made many good friends during their life together. She loved her garden, trips to Hawaii with Bill, shopping and winning at cards. Mum loved her family, their friends and visiting with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Bill, young son Grant and sister, Frances Brien. Mum leaves her cherished children, Bruce (Bev) Morrison, Pam (Bob) Marchand and Margo (Lloyd) Robbie, her brother, Gordon Creed, 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and devoted friend, Myrna Shier. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Mt. Tolmie Hospital, Victoria Hospice and Beacon Community Services for their excellent care and compassion.
