Helen Mae (Greer) Lovell, 86, of Rogersville, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2002, at her residence. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. today at Spry Funeral Home chapel, Athens. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Gerald Romine and John Henry officiating. Burial will be in Civitan Cemetery.She was born Oct. 26, 1916, in Lauderdale County, was a homemaker and a member of Rogersville Church of Christ.Survivors include her daughter, Helen Nan Elkins, Huntsville; son, David G. Lovell, Killen; sister, Anna Dean Romine, Auburn; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her husband, Ross Harvey Lovell.
