Helen M. Harris of Lake Carmel, NY, died August 29, 2002. She was 84. She was born September 3, 1917 in New York City, NY to John J. and Margaretta McWilliams Curry. She was employed by Putnam County as a Switchboard Operator in the Putnam County Office Building. She is survived by her sons: John J., Jr. of St. Croix, Virgin Islands; Kenneth of Verbank, NY; and Robert of Millbrook, NY. She is also survived by six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Visiting will be Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Adams-Cordovano Funeral Home, 15 Church Street (off Route 6) Carmel. A Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Church.
