Helen M. Gibson, 100, Punta Gorda and formerly of Port Charlotte, died May 3, 2005, at Charlotte Regional Medical Center in Punta Gorda. She was born June 27, 1904, in Reynoldsville, Pa., lived in Vandergrift, Pa., and then moved to Cambridge, Ohio. She had lived in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois and New Jersey. She enjoyed playing the organ in church and taught piano lessons. She was a member of Moorestown Presbyterian Church in Moorestown, N.J. When she moved from Moorestown in 1986 to Port Charlotte, she resided at Villa Sans Souci, where she went out with the "Lunch Bunch" and was the Country Store manager. Survivors include a son, Charles of Punta Gorda; two granddaughters; and three great-grandchildren. Burial will be in Moorestown Presbyterian Cemetery in Moorestown, N.J. Charlotte Memorial Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Punta Gorda is in charge.
