Helen Beatrice McCollum Lowry, 85, of 535 Ross Road, died Thursday, January 3, 2008, at her home. Born in Easley, she was a daughter of the late James Wylie and Cora Lee Christopher McCollum. She was a homemaker and was of the Presbyterian Faith. Mrs. Lowry loved cooking for her family and enjoyed making ceramics and was a hairdresser. Surviving are two sons, Fred M. Lowry, James W. Lowry, both of Liberty; a daughter, Zee Weaver of Liberty; a brother, Edwin McCollum of Easley; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday night from 6 until 8 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, 905 W.
