LEE, HELEN age 85, of Bessemer, AL, passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2012. Granny was a loving wife, mother, and granny. She will be greatly missed by all whom she touched and supported through the years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee; her son, Robert Lee, Jr., and her daughter, Diane Vines. She is survived by her daughter, Brenda Small; her grandchildren, Teddy (Willie) Lee, Robert Lee III, Johnny Lee, Willie Lee, Elijah Lee, Ammie Michelle Lee, Lisa Small, Eddie Jean Lee and Brenda Lee; 24 great grandchildren; 4 great great grandchildren; her brothers, Harold, Paul, Roy, Bunk and Leslie Martin, and her sister, Sandra Martin. Funeral services will be held at Bessemer Brown Service Funeral Home Saturday, August 11, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. with burial in Elmwood Cemetery. Bro. Bobby Simmons and Willie Lee will be officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday, August 10, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. >
