LEE, Helen1925 – 2014Unexpectedly on August 1st in her 89th year. Beloved wife of the late Jou Juoh "J.J." Lee. Dear mother to Janson (Sonia) and proud grandmother to Justin and Jessica. Loving sister to Allan Way-Nee (Yae) and Douglas Way-Nee (Grace). Predeceased by her parents Ling Way Nee and Sarah (nee Randall) and sister June. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and friends. Helen was an accomplished recorder player both as a member of CAMAC and many different recorder groups in the area. She was also an avid golfer having been a member of Hylands G.C. since 1976. Known for her active lifestyle, it was not uncommon to see her biking to or from appointments or tending her extensive flower garden. Helen touched many lives and will be sadly missed by the countless friends she has made. A Memorial Reception will be held at the Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa, on Saturday, September 13th from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Memorial donations can be made to an Ottawa Hospital, the Red Cross or a charity of your choice.
