LEE, Helen (Yit Hing) December 10,1925 - February 7, 2011 Born December 10,1925 in Victoria, BC passed away peacefully Monday, February 7, 2011. Helen grew up in Vancouver's Chinatown. She attended Lord Strathcona Elementary and Vancouver Tech High School. She worked as a seamstress for the family business 'On Wo Tailors' and other manufacturing companies. She enjoyed attending church and participating in outings, baking, crafts and companionship with Bonnie. These weekly visits were special and cherished, adding immensely to her quality of life. Thank you so much Bonnie! Helen is predeceased by siblings Wallace, Harry, Albert, George, Robert, and Winnifred. Survived by brother David. Her final home was Magnolia House where she was surrounded by loving, compassionate, caring staff and residents. The family would like to thank the staff and residents. A funeral service will be held at Mountain View Cemetery, Celebration Hall 5455 Fraser St. at 11AM Thursday, February 17, 2011. Helen will be laid to rest next her mother and father.
