February 3, 2008 Helen L. Robinson Cox, 101, formerly of Elbridge, died Sunday in Coudersport, PA where she had been living for the past two years. Helen was born in New Brunswick, Canada and lived in LaFayette before moving to Elbridge in 1994. She was the daughter of the late George and Elizabeth Muffitt Lister and the widow of Carroll D. Robinson who died in 1970 and Donald E. Cox who died in 2001. Helen retired in 1973 after 13 years with VanDuyn Home & Hospital. Helen was a former member of Calvary Episcopal Church, Syracuse, and the Sentinel Heights Fire Department Auxiliary. Surviving are a nephew, Harold Lister; and nieces, Elizabeth Cannon, Debbie Blok, and Christine Helen Iredale. Services will be 1 p.m. Thursday at the Bush Funeral Home, Elbridge with the Rev. Kate Day officiating. Burial will be in Pine Planes Cemetery, N. Manlius. Friends may call noon to 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 120 E. Main St. (Rt. 5), Elbridge.
